You can book your sailing adventure with us at any time, as long as there is availability. This includes same-day bookings. We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred date and time, but we're happy to accommodate last-minute plans if we have openings.

When you book a sailing charter with us, everything you need for a perfect day at sea is included. Your charter comes with:

• All activities: sailing, snorkeling, stand-up paddleboarding, fishing, and the opportunity to spot dolphins and whale watching.

• Drinks: We provide local beers, bubbly, wine, spirits, juices, sparkling water and sodas at The Captain’s Bar.

• Food: Enjoy a selection of local pupus, fruit trays, poke, sandwiches or other snacks while aboard.

• Equipment: All necessary gear for activities like snorkeling and fishing is provided.

Our goal is to ensure you have a hassle-free and enjoyable experience without the need to plan for additional details.

On board, you can savor a variety of local flavors designed to enhance your sailing experience.

• Local pupus (appetizers)

• Tropical fruit platters

• Veggies and hummus

• Sandwiches for longer sails (4 hours+)

• Selection of local beers and a full bar

• Juices, sparkling water, and sodas

• Sunset sails include freshly sautéed shrimp or fish.

You can also bring your own snacks and beverages!

For any custom food orders or special requests, please fill out the questionnaire provided when you book.

Our charters set sail from the Honokohau Marina in Kailua-Kona, HI. The address to plug into your maps app is 74-380 Kealakehe Parkway, but to reach our departure point, take your first right into the marina, then stay on that road all the way until you reach our slip. You will see our sign and our boat! Please refer to the map for a clear guide to our location.

Make sure to bring your bathing suit and a change of change of clothes. If you’re venturing out to the sunset sails, a light jacket is recommended.

Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 48 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. Gratuities are not included the booking price. If your captain and crew did a good job, please leave us a tip in cash or venmo anytime during your sail.

Yes, all of our charters are! This includes beverages, pupus, local beers, wine, bubbly, the bluetooth speaker and all of our water equipment for snorkeling and stand up paddleboarding off the coast in Hawaii.

No, you can book a regular Private Sail and still catch the sunset as long as it’s within the timeframe of your charter.

It is illegal to swim with Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins, we have to stay 50 yards away. However, there are no laws saying we can’t get in the water with other types of marine life and large animals. Ou priority is your safety and preservation of our delicate wildlife. We do not allow you to touch or otherwise interact with any animals.

Humpback whales make their annual journey to Hawaii between the months of November and April (whale season). These are the time you are most likely to see them.

No. Unfortunately the local residents get to decide when they want to be seen. Our crew knows the right spots and will try their best to find them.

We recommend at least booking the 3 hour charter to have ample time to search.

We usually run into other local residents such as monk seals, sharks, whale sharks, turtles, manta rays, eagl rays and many types of fish around the reef.
